Phrasly sells eight things in one subscription. Almost nobody uses eight. Before you pick a replacement, list the two or three you actually opened, then price those on their own. Half the people who do this find the replacement is cheaper and the other half find Phrasly was already the bargain.

Phrasly's homepage lists these products: AI Humanizer, AI Detector, Content Generator, Thesis Generator, Translator, an AI Document Editor called Phrasly Pages, Plagiarism Checker, and a Citations Generator marked "Coming Soon" (phrasly.ai, checked 16 August 2026).
The plan structure on their pricing page is unusually simple. There are two entries: a "3 Day Access" trial and a single plan called "Unlimited" (phrasly.ai/pricing, checked 16 August 2026).

One thing that page does not do is print a price. The plan card renders "/ month" and "per month, billed annually" with the numbers absent. The page's own embedded schema markup listed a price range of $0.00 to $19.99 USD. That is the only price figure we could read from Phrasly's own site, and a range is not a price, so we are not turning it into one.
Their AI detector is free and, by their own description, uncapped. Phrasly's detector page states "Unlimited checks, no word limit", describes itself as a "100% Free AI Checker" and says "There is no limit to how many times you can use the AI Detector" (phrasly.ai/ai-detector, checked 16 August 2026). That is more free detection volume than we offer. Our free tier is 60 checks a day at 5,000 words. If raw free checking volume is the single thing you need, theirs is the better deal and we would be lying to say otherwise.
Two caveats worth knowing, both from their own page: text highlighting requires being signed in, and the page itself acknowledges "no method of detection is 100% accurate" and that "False positives are inevitable". Credit where due, that is a more candid line than most tools in this space publish.
The humanizer's per-request ceiling is high. 5,000 words per process on the paid plan, against 800 on the trial (phrasly.ai/pricing, 16 August 2026). If you work in long documents, that matters more than the monthly total.
Language coverage. Their humanizer page lists "20+ languages" and names English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch and Polish (phrasly.ai/ai-humanizer, checked 16 August 2026). Our detector is English-only. That is not a close comparison and we lose it outright.
Three rewrite intensities. The same page describes "Easy for light polish", "Medium for balanced rewrites" and "Aggressive for deeper restructuring". Control over how much changes is a real feature.
And the honest boundary. Phrasly's flagship is a humanizer, which is a tool for making AI text read as human. TextSight sells detection and a rewriter aimed at clarity. If humanizing is what you are shopping for, we cannot serve you and your shortlist should be StealthWriter, Humbot, BypassGPT and Walter Writes, compared on their own published terms.
We flag these not as criticism but because they are the reason to check figures at source rather than trusting any summary, including ours.
First, the discount. Phrasly's homepage says yearly billing lets you "save up to 60% compared to paying monthly". The pricing page's annual toggle says "SAVE 45%". Both were live on 16 August 2026.
Second, the training claim. The homepage states models "trained on 500k+ real human articles". The humanizer page states "Trained on 1M+ real human articles". Both were live on 16 August 2026.
Neither of these tells you the product is bad. They tell you the marketing pages were updated at different times, which is normal, and that the number you act on should be the one on the checkout screen.
These are figures Phrasly publishes about itself. We have not tested any of them, no shared benchmark exists, and they should not be compared against any other vendor's self-reported numbers as though they were measured the same way.
For our part, we do not publish an accuracy percentage at all. A single number across every text type and every writer would flatter us and mislead you.
If your inventory came back as "I used the detector and occasionally the rewriter", here is the shape of what we sell.
Detection runs on an English-only ensemble of DeBERTa, RoBERTa and ELECTRA. Three bands: under 30 "likely human-written", 30 to 69 "mixed signals", 70 and above "likely AI-generated". Anonymous visitors get 3 checks a day at 1,000 words. A free account gets 60 a day at 5,000 words with saved history. Starter at $9.99/mo, or $7.49 on annual billing, gives 200 checks a day, sentence-level analysis and PDF export. Pro at $19.99/mo ($14.99 annual) drops the daily cap and adds the Chrome extension, scan history and REST API. Business at $39.99 ($29.99) adds teams and branded reports. Enterprise is $79.99 ($59.99). File upload, URL scan and bulk scan sit on the paid plans.
The bias disclosure, which matters given how international Phrasly's audience appears to be: our detector has a known false-positive bias against writers who learned English as a second language. We would rather say that on the pricing conversation than in a support ticket after you have paid.
What we do not have: a plagiarism checker, a content generator, a thesis generator, a translator, a citation generator, or a document editor. If Phrasly's bundle was doing three of those jobs for you, replacing it with us alone would leave holes.
A student who used Phrasly mainly for the free detector. Keep using it. It is free and uncapped by their own description. Add our sentence-level analysis only if you need to see which specific sentences carry the signal.
A multilingual writer. Phrasly, clearly. Twenty-plus languages against our English-only model.
A blogger vetting outsourced drafts. Us. Free account for volume, Starter for the PDF you can send back to the writer, bulk scan when a batch arrives.
A researcher who was using the thesis generator and plagiarism checker. Neither of those is something we offer. Look at dedicated academic tools rather than at us.
A team that needs branded reports for clients. Business at $39.99/mo, or $29.99 on annual billing. Phrasly does not publish an equivalent.
Anyone who wants the humanizer. Not us. Say what you need out loud and shop in that category.
